Jonathan Avery is an established family business which has been designing and making its own unique free-standing furniture since 1993. Our reputation has been built on honesty, integrity and a superb level of personal service.
Although started as a mail order business, we opened our unique Jonathan Avery Homestore in Edinburgh in 1999. The success of this venture has led to further expansion and the store now has 2,500 sq.ft of our own kitchens, furniture and exclusive product lines as well as a Cookshop, fabrics, interior accessories and gifts sourced from around the world. Our Glasgow store opened in the Merchant City in 2007. For our Scottish clients we offer a full on-site interior design and renovation service.
We are major stockists of Emma Bridgewater, Nigella Lawson Cookware, Jane Churchill, Mulberry, Fired Earth, GP & J Baker, Harlequin, Sia, Parlane, Bombay Duck, East Jewellery, Moulin Roty. Many of these items are featured in photographs throughout this brochure and will be available via the web site and an exciting Homestore by Mail Accessories brochure at a later date.
Our Furniture
Jonathan Avery furniture is solidly hand built and hand painted. We use high quality MDF for its superior paint finish and stability as well as its environmental friendliness - we source from a manufacturer which utilises forest thinnings from throughout Scotland. Our workshops in the Edinburgh combine precision CAD manufacturing with time honoured craft methods to produce truly exceptional quality.
